Well it's new water time !
Iām pretty lucky to be on CC Moore team and while testing their new baits Iāve managed to have some outstanding day sessions.
As many that follow me know, Iāve been chasing a common ‘Two Tone’ for a while even losing it at the net last year which totally destroyed my plans as I thought I’d have another year chasing it! Last Monday I ventured out – it was cold, windy and wet š³Ā
I had a change of plan and went with my favourite 10mm Ā pro-stim liver baitsĀ and a new tones dairy pink over the top.Ā
At 8.57 the right rod pulled up tight, I lifted into it and a slow battle commenced. When I realised it was Two Tone I didn’t want to rush but eventually slipped the mighty fish in to the net
JOB DONE!
To add to this, the day session resulted 3 x 20lb to 29:6lb and Two Tone 30+Ā Ā
Also pictured is the mirror, the smallest fish of the day but quite a stunner – made my day even more special!Ā
Been hard going with ups and downs but never give up – we get there in the end!Ā
