This fish marks the first of what I hope will be many more from my new syndicate, caught on my very first visit.
It was tempted by an EstateBaits Cinna’Cream wafter and weighed in at exactly 29lb.

An evening session produced a few nice fish with Ben snaring the 18lb9oz mirror.
First catfish for Jake!
Fishing for catfish and this took a 1/0 hook on Bailey's baits Apex 20mm pop up with a Apex 20mm Bollie. 30.1lb. First one I've ever had.

Decided to try a new day ticket, a 9 acre castle estate lake, absolutely stunning place to fish. Managed to nab 1, a nice 20lb 4 Oz common. It was also my 1st time using Baylys Baits secret sauce. Used a boilie straight from the bag tipped with a white corn topper from the range soaked in gods gift

Back on the bank and back amongst one the pretty commons on the club lake, this one felt very good to slip over my net cord. After so many lost fish to snags and so much back luck this one went 22lb 😍

An epic battle with a 104lb catfish!
Recent trip to France with Darren and Peter Chell. Resulted in a bit of an epic battle with this 104lb catfish on carp gear. After a 45 minute battle of wits pete managed to glove the beast out. It was nearly a bucket soaking...but not this time 😂😂
35lb PB!
I’ve been very lucky & had 2 trips out to France in the last few weeks.
I’ve just come back from the second at Pleasurelakefrance.co.uk with David @ Peter. I lost a big one on the first morning and did struggle BUT did have my new PB common 35lb AND my first grassy (hopefully my last tbh!) 28lb
I’m not used to heavy baiting but went through copious amounts of Baylys Baits during the 2 sessions which was certainly doing its job.
I’m learning each time and have massively enjoyed my sessions over there so hope to return in the not too distant!
It’s all about getting out and enjoying nature by the lakes, but when your alarms rip off with rewards like these, that’s what makes it all worth the while 🙏💪
A cracking 45lb PB!
I’ve been very lucky & had 2 trips out to France in the last few weeks, the first to Petit Pretre with Simon where, after a shaky start with a series of hook pulls (remedied by switching from hand sharpened to thicker gauge hooks) I broke my PB mirror with a cracking 45lb.
I’m not used to heavy baiting but went through copious amounts of Baylys Baits during the 2 sessions which was certainly doing its job. I’m learning each time and have massively enjoyed my sessions over there so hope to return in the not too distant!

Last year fished over 300 hours had one bite one fish not even another bleep !! Now 1st overnight had 4 runs had a run on all 3 rods losing 2 fish to a hook pull and getting into a snag absolute quality bait now looking forward to the rest of the day and my next session!!!! A nice 18.03oz within 30 minutes!
Got at the lake about 8.30 am set all my gear up on the bank ,got the rods out and put pineapple express on left rod first time using the bait, wow 30 minutes gone left rod screaming off, well that was it a nice 18.03oz within 30 minutes of being on the bank , then another 7 fish on left rod ,absolutely amazed at the bait. Well it was Baylys Baits
