PLEASURE LAKE 2025
Join Dave, Pete & myself on our 2nd visit to Pleasure Lakes, Limoges
Last year (2024), Dave ‘Crouchy Carper’ took, what some may say, was a very brave step and invited me to join himself & Pete Chell for a week in France fishing at Pleasure Lake fishery, nr Limoges
We had a great time with some cracking catches (I don’t want to brag but I did catch the biggest perch of the week 🏆)
At the end, we all booked again for this year and I thought would be good to keep a record of the session so hope you’ll join us on TikTok lives and follow our progress on here
The swim has more than enough space for 3 anglers fishing 3 rods each

The Venue
About the lake
The average size carp in the lake is now 35lb+. This is a very rich lake and we have seen the stock growing at a good rate each year. The stock consists of mirror carp to 70lb+ along with catfish to 200lb.
There are also common carp to over 50lb and grass carp plus a mandarin catfish which makes for an unusual photo.
Getting there..
TBH I love driving in France.. The roads are better kept, quieter, more predicatble and generally less stressful than the UK
Pleasure Lake is in the Limoges area and around 6.5hr drive from Calais.
